परिभाषा- Homophones वे शब्द हैं जिनका उच्चारण समान होता है लेकिन उनके अर्थ तथा Spelling ( वर्तनी) भिन्न होते हैं। जैसेSo (सो) = इसलिए। : sow (सो) = बोना। one (वन्) = एक : won (वन्) = जीता eye (आइ) = आँख : I (आई) = मैं two (टू) = दो : too (टू) = भी know (नो) := जानना : no (नो) = नहीं। some (सम्) = कुछ : sum (सम्) = राशि four (फोर) = चार ‘ : for (फॉर) = के लिए see (सी) = देखना : sea (सी) = समुद्र : flower (फ्लावर ) फूल : flour (फ्लोर)- आटा hole (होल) : whole (होल)- सम्पूर्ण गड्ढा, सूराख कुछ महत्वपूर्ण समान ध्वनि वाले शब्द व उनके प्रयोग
